Unless noted otherwise, please reply to karinhen@cox.net if you would like to help out. Serra Catholic Buddy Family Program- A warm and welcoming face can mean so much to a new family at Serra. Our Buddy Family program pairs current Serra families with new incoming families to share their experience and knowledge. Sign up today to get a head start on next year’s hours while helping with this important program. If interested, please contact Melissa Fosdick at 459-1505 or via email at fosdickmelissa@yahoo.com. Business and Burgers Day – Tuesday, August 3rd - Volunteer shifts are available from 8:30 a.m. until 6:15 p.m. We are in need of Student Store Volunteers, check-in for In-n-Out Burgers and many other positions. FREE childcare is available for volunteers. Childcare will include crafts, games, movies and outdoor play in the enclosed “Kindergarten play yard” with our extended care staff. (Children must be potty trained and reservations are necessary. First shift volunteers may drop off the kids at 8:15 am.) If you are interested in getting a jump start on your hours for 2010-2011, please contact Karin Hendrick at karinhen@cox.net or Amy Grover at grovergang@gmail.com to get on the list to volunteer. Child care will be available for volunteers only. 2010 Serra Golf Classic – Save the Date for the 15th Annual Golf Classic on September 30th. If you would like to be part of this year's golf committee please contact the Golf Chairs, Clasina Johnson at ckj@cox.net or Raquel Nieva at rnieva@cox.net . 2010 Harvest Festival- 2010 Harvest Festival will be held on Sunday, October 24. Harvest is one of the most popular family events of the Serra school year, and we need your help to make it happen.
